The Reiki Space is operated by Thomas Martin, a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki practitioner and UK Reiki Federation member based in Buxton, Derbyshire. This privacy policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, and protected when you visit this website or make an enquiry.

When you book a distance Reiki session, we also ask for:
- The town or city and country you will be in during your session, and your time zone
- Any health or sensitivity information you choose to share, such as a heart condition, pregnancy, or relevant mental health context
- A record of your consent to receive distance Reiki
Distance sessions are paid by card when you book, through Stripe, a secure payment provider. Your full card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store them. In-person sessions are paid at the time of your session.
How We Use Your Data
Your personal information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed to book, to manage your appointments. We will never use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and we will never sell your data or share it with third parties, other than the services described below that process it on our behalf.
Health Information
Information about your health is a special category of personal data under UK GDPR, so we only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give when you book. We ask for it solely so that your session can be carried out safely and appropriately, and it is never used for any other purpose.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. If you would rather not share something through the booking form, you are welcome to discuss it with Thomas directly instead.
Contact Form, Online Booking & Third Party Services
Enquiries submitted through our contact form are processed by a secure third-party form submission service. Your data is transmitted securely and delivered to our email address only. It is not stored, shared, or used for any other purpose.
Distance session bookings are made through Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service that stores your booking details, including the answers you give when booking, on our behalf as a data processor. For details of how Cal.com stores and protects your data, see Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Card payments for distance sessions are processed by Stripe. For details of how Stripe handles your data, see Stripe’s privacy policy.
Website Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymous data including pages visited, time spent on the site, and general geographic location (country/city level only). This data does not identify you personally.
