Distance Reiki allows you to receive a full Reiki treatment without leaving home. Whether you are elsewhere in the UK, living overseas, recovering from illness, or simply prefer the comfort of your own surroundings, we meet online at an agreed time and share a session wherever you are.
Many people choose distance Reiki because it fits easily around work, family life or limited mobility, while others simply appreciate being able to relax in familiar surroundings.
What is distance Reiki?
Distance Reiki, sometimes called remote Reiki or absent healing, is a Reiki session where practitioner and client are not in the same room. Within the Reiki tradition, energy is not considered bound by physical location, so a session given remotely is understood to work in the same way as one given hands-on or hands-off in person. Many clients find it difficult to tell the difference from being in the treatment room.
During your session
Ahead of our session, I begin by spending time connecting with Universal Life Force Energy through a practice known in the Reiki tradition as gassho. During the session I act as a conduit for Reiki, allowing it to flow to where it is needed. I work intuitively, often with an awareness of the chakra system and subtle energy field, and I tailor the session to you as an individual.
How we connect
Before your appointment, you choose the platform you are most comfortable with. The options are as follows:
Video or voice call using your smartphone.
Google Meet
A simple video link that works on phones, tablets and computers.
Microsoft Teams
Ideal if you’re already familiar with Teams.
Telephone
Perfect if you’d rather keep things simple and avoid video altogether.
For clients outside the UK, appointments can be arranged across different time zones via the booking form.
Is distance Reiki right for me?
Distance Reiki can be a practical option for almost anyone. Clients come to distance Reiki for many reasons, commonly to unwind from ongoing stress, to ease anxiety, or to support more restful sleep.
A remote session can be particularly welcome for anyone who is housebound or finds travel difficult. If someone you care about would like to experience Reiki but cannot easily get to a treatment room, a session can come to them instead.

I came to this work through my own experience of seeking support through difficult times, and I hold the same care and presence for every client, whether we meet in person or remotely.

Common questions about distance Reiki
Within the Reiki tradition, energy is not considered limited by physical distance, so a remote session is understood to work in the same way as one given in person. Many clients find distance Reiki just as settled and supportive as being in the treatment room. As with all Reiki, it is a complementary practice for relaxation and wellbeing rather than a medical treatment.
You find somewhere quiet and comfortable to lie down or sit, and we connect at your agreed time by WhatsApp, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or phone. You rest while I work remotely for the length of the session, and there is time afterwards to share anything that came up.
Just a phone, tablet or computer, and a comfortable, undisturbed spot. You remain fully clothed, and you do not need any special equipment. If you would rather not be on camera, a phone call works perfectly well.
Many clients find it difficult to tell the difference. I hold the same dedicated time, quiet preparation and attentive presence as I would in the treatment room, so a distance session can feel every bit as relaxing and supportive.
Yes. Distance Reiki is available worldwide, and appointments can be arranged across different time zones. You are welcome to note your location and preferred times on the booking form.
Distance sessions start from £35 for 30 minutes, £45 for 45 minutes, and £55 for 60 minutes, the same rates as in-person sessions.
